I had the absolute pleasure to guest pod on the Australian Cricket Podcast. A thoroughly enjoyable time was had as Menners, Bob and I looked back on the third test between Sri Lanka and Australia, looked forward to the ODI series, chatted gamesmanship between the two sides, squared off in a classic sledges competition and threw shade on five cricket commentators.
A packed agenda sees Patrick and his copodder Paul dissect the Big Bash final, review the five ODIs between Australia and India, critique Australia's unusual selection policy viz Shaun Tait and Usman Khawaja and delve deep into pitchsiding. "It's our best yet!" exclaimed Patrick!
Patrick joined Paul at the crease to chat the rained over third test between Australia and the West Indies, mansplain Chris Gayle's atrocious behaviour and marvel at the success of the Big Bash. Oh, and bad news for Sri Lanka: we've taken the 1996 World Cup off you and claimed it for ourselves!
Patrick and Paul talk more about Chris Cairns' remarkable trial in London, look back on a bumper week of cricket and look forward to an unusual summer of action.
